Strict Threading

Is there a way to set Strict Threading? Right now MS still keep using the subjects as the reference to grouping conversations, which is, to put it mildly, highly inaccurated. They have done the same thing on the Office Outlook as well. So, going back to my question, is Strict Threading an option (even with a registry hack) and if it isn't, when will MS implement the feature all "respectable" email clients have (that is, give the option to use the Subject, for loose grouping, or using Message-ID:, Reference:, etc for real threading).
Thanks.
